Teaching the core skills

Teacher in classroom
Connecting Classrooms offers new training packages, giving teachers the knowledge & approaches they need to effectively integrate teaching of six core skills in the classroom.

Core skills, sometimes referred to as deep learning skills or 21st century learning skills, are the essential skills young people need to be fully prepared for life and work in a global economy.

Developed by the British Council and leading education experts, the training packages introduce participants to new interactive approaches and techniques while helping them to develop practical activity plans for use in the classroom.

The core skills deep learning course is an essential part of the Connecting Classrooms learning journey. Teachers must undertake this in order to complete the learning journey.
