Leading the core skills
Core skills, sometimes referred to as deep learning skills or 21st century learning skills, are the essential skills young people need to be fully prepared for life and work in a global economy.
The training packages give school leaders the tools and approaches they need to ensure effective core skills provision in their schools, including strategies for planning, monitoring and improving teaching and learning and for mapping core skills across the curriculum.
Use the online training hub to learn at your own pace and when it suits you.
The training package ‘An introduction to core skills for leaders’ is available now. (Please note: you will require a Schools Online user account to access the training package).
