We are proud to be associated with the ‘German-Indian Classroom Programme’- a joint endeavour of the Robert Bosch Stiftung and Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi- for the second consecutive year. In this year-long programme, we, along with our German partner school- Genoveva Gymnasium, worked on the project titled- ‘From Girl to Woman and from Boy to Man: Growing up in Indian and German Families’.
An appropriately and fascinatingly entitled activity- 'Tribal Treasures' was organised under the aegis of International School Award on 29 August, 2014. A team of 4 students from each of the 8 houses of the Senior Department ventured out on this journey of discovering the magic of art works that are aboriginal in nature. The teams were divided into two groups- 4 dealing with tribes of Africa and 4 with those in India.
As the Delhi Co ordinator of EUmIND , I, Ms. Reetu Dawar visited Maharaja Agarsain Public School, Ashok Vihar on April 19, 2014 . The visit was to give a presentation to make the teachers and students aware of our EUmIND journey. It was attended by approximately 200 students and teachers. The aim was to make the staff and students aware about the various projects under EUmIND and the experiences of our students regarding Video conferencing.
