Celebrate International School Meals Day

Take part in International School Meals Day on 6 March and raise awareness on the importance of nutritional school meals worldwide. Take part in an opportunity to connect children around the world on the issues of healthy eating, hunger and poverty.

This year’s theme, celebrating healthy eating and well-being in schools, is Food Stories. Students and teachers worldwide will share their culinary experiences with a goal of promoting nutritious school meals. As stories relating to food are rich with local culture and traditions, students will learn about one another and share the importance of healthy eating habits while celebrating unique foods, recipes and customs.

Join in the learning and fun of International School Meals Day by exchanging lesson plans, partnering with classrooms and schools in other countries and sharing best practices from around the world.
