Practice News DayIn February, we ran a practice news day when students around the world wrote and published their own news stories and reports. Here is a selection of the reports from 8 February 2012:
1618: As we head towards International Women’s Day on 8th March, students at The Millennium School in Mohali, India, report on Women’s Empowerment in the 21st Century. 1611: As India prepare for the London Olympics, students from Modern School Barakhamba Road, New Delhi ask the question on everyone’s lips… Can India live up to their huge success at the 2010 Commonwealth Games? They interview ex-Olympians for an expert opinion. 1544: More on the environment from Chiranjiv Bharti School; they think about the advantages of bio fuel.
